Jah 7 Cuisine LLC was founded in December 2024. Currently, I am producing some of our cherished Jamaican traditional sweet treats, including Coconut Drops Bites, which is an enhanced version of the classic coconut drops. This product is unique in its offering. The modest sales I generate are reinvested into the company, and once I reach a milestone of 500 sales, I plan to introduce additional products. This marks the inception of my catering service and restaurant. As a Jamaican, I arrived in the United States in November 2014 for a visit. After just one month, I began a small job at a flea market, engraving license plates for three days a week, five hours each day. Fast forward to 2025, I faced nearly a decade of being undocumented, during which I was separated from my daughter and family. This period was challenging and often disheartening, yet I remained focused on my long-term goals of obtaining naturalization and launching my business. Now that I am naturalized and have reunited with my daughter and family, I am fully dedicated to achieving my objectives. Jah 7 Cuisine LLC is owned and operated by me, Chantallee Cummings. As an immigrant from Jamaica, I am a mother of three, a wife, a loyal friend, and deeply family-oriented. The name of my restaurant reflects the number of siblings my husband and I each have, totaling seven. "Jah" signifies blessings, while "Cuisine" adds a touch of elegance to the concept of a restaurant. My primary goal is to deliver an exceptional and memorable experience for all those we serve. I aspire to travel across the United States and internationally, offering catering services for a variety of occasions. The design of my restaurant will evoke the charm of my beautiful island, Jamaica, featuring both private and public dining areas. Located in one of the largest and most popular tourist cities, Orlando, my restaurant aims to be a pioneering establishment. I am confident in its potential for success, especially considering that at least 95% of people enjoy Jamaican cuisine.
